Balayage is basically a free hand colouring technique, so the outcomes can actually be quite different. generally I would say you can compare it to an ombre infused with highlights but much more natural looking. the technique in the picture I posted is a balayage as well. I've had a blonde balayage done twice so far, the first time was the first time I got my hair coloured so the stylist only added a bit of blonde and it came out as a very natural look. This time it's a lot more obvious, almost like a sombre but not as harsh. so this would be great if you just want a bit of a change and not give up completely on your natural hair colour. I hope this makes sense :)

How funny, I think that's the exact picture I showed my hairdresser when I got mine done last :) I think the style would look really good on you. As for a good hairdresser, I basically found mine by reading Google reviews and looking at reference pictures on their Facebook page. I'd also be prepared to go for a pricier one. good luck with it :)
