I wear light to medium foundation everyday with setting powder, and no matter if I get mattifying foundation my skin still appears oily area my t-zone area. If there are any tips or tricks or foundation recommendation please help lol.

I agree with all of the above foundations! Tarte Amazonian clay full coverage foundation is also really good for oily skin! Try the Becca mattifying primer or the too faced primed and poreless pure!! I love both of those for my oily skin

Try the cover girl queen 3n1 foundation or the Revlon colorstay foundation. Those two foundation keep me matte up to 8 hours. I powder my face with the loreal infallible powder. When I bake my under eyes I go in with the airspun powder and put some on my nose to make sure I'm not oily threw out the day.
With these 2 powders I am guaranteed to be shine free for a long time.

Make sure your skin is hydrated as well before you apply your makeup and this will help your skin not produce as much oil. Jojoba oil would be a good addition before you apply your moisturizer, because it is light and absorbs quickly and mimics your skins natural sebum. Then use your usual moisturizer on top. Wait 5-10 minutes for that to absorb then apply a mattifying primer. Apply your foundation and set it with a powder (focus on your t zone). Lastly use a setting spray or a finishing spray to keep your makeup lasting throughout the day and staying matte.
