Just want to know if you have ever used Hydroquinone...is it safe? Can it help fade away brown spots on the face??

I have used it. My dermatologist prescribed it for my hyper pigmwntation. It does work quite well, however it quits working after at least six months. And then the dark spots come right back. My dermatologist told me that the best way to go is micro needling.

I haven't used that particular product but any dark spot corrector you use won't give you results if you don't wear SPF. I also suggest exfoliating with something like the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel as it's a chemical and physical exfoliator. Vitamin C or E products will help as well. I use The Body Shop Vitamin C Moisturizer during the day and The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil at night. Using all the products I've mentioned have helped extremely with my hyper pigmentation

Skylar my hydroquinone (Obagi) is also 4%. Your derm should be honest with you and tell you that when you discontinue use the spots will come back. And Obagi is definitely meant for short term, it absolutely quits working after 4-6 months.
I have tried every other product under the sun and nothing comes close to making a dent in my hyper pigmentation. I was going to simply have it lasered, which is much less expensive, but I've also been told that won't work long term either.
So my derm and I came up with a treatment plan. I get three sessions of micro needling and then I use the Lyterra skin system to prevent the dark marks from returning. I'll let you know it works! I'm scheduled for my first session at the end of this month!
