Liquid I use a stippling brush and then take a flat top powder brush to blend it out more. Powder I use a big fluffy brush. I use Coastal Scents brushes.

Powder: Sigma F82/ RT Buffing Brush
Liquid: Sigma F50/F82/ RT Stippling Brush
I always go over my makeup with a damp sponge to finish it, even though it doesn't constitute as a brush! =P

Karen, I love the buffing brush for powder, it works good with liquid too! I use it for liquid if my F82 is dirty and they do the same thing. I really have been itching to try Tarte's Airbrush Brush for awhile now cause I hear good things about it. Anyone use it?
