today I got the inked in pink one from the metallics collection. I have never used a cream shadow before so I have a few questions. first how do you apply it? I was assuming my fingers but I don't really know... also should I use an eyeshadow primer? I don't want something weird to happen so I was curious. thanks!!!!

I find it easiest to use either my fingers or those cheapy sponge applicators that come in eyeshadows from the drugstore...I don't find I need an eyeshadow base with cream shadows but everyone's skin is different

You can use a cream shadow brush or just your fingers. I usually go with my fingers because it's quicker and easier to blend and I don't have a brush to wash. You don't need to use a primer with them, but I always do because my lids are really oily. If you don't have that issue, you can probably get away without priming. Just remember that with cream products, it's really easy to have problems with creasing and smudging if you apply too much at once, so work with thin layers and build the color up if you need to. Inked in Pink looks really pretty, I hope you like it!

Thanks I wanted to try it out tomorrow for my first day back at school, I think I will probably use my urban decay primer potion just in case because I don't want to have to worry about creasing.

I am color tattoo obsessed! I layer them with powder shadows. I always use a primer and apply the tattoo with a small synthetic brush just to get even application.

Use primer Tattoo eyeshadow from Maybelline is thick in my opinion so I use a brush because blended it looks much more realistic and definitely use primer or no matter what you do it will crease it has happened to me but the creasing is lesser than regular eyeshadow

I use my fingers. If you have oily lids, go for a primer.

I don't use my finger because if you have long nails they get in the way. I would use a sponge or pad brush.
