So, I've been having so many products lately, being on a budget, trying to get my hair to grow. It was so dry and nappy at a point I buzz cut it 2 years ago. ( I know, dumb) I thought my hair would grow up longer. Now 2 years later, it's barely at my shoulders and is taking really long to grow. I feel like it's so dry now, that it's become an Afro. I don't know what to, no products are working. I have curly Afro hair now. I want long, smooth, thick straight hair. Any recommendations?

Sorry but growing your hair is based off your genetics, no products will magically grow your hair out.
but you can use a hair mask for the dryness

Put coconut oil all over your hair, leave it on for as long as you want then take a shower

But my main reason to cut it, was to get rid of how nappy and dry and thin it was. I use Shea butter in the Suave Keratin Oil shampoo and conditioner. I just need a really good product for dry, brittle hair. Thank you though, I'll try that:)

I think Sally's Macadamia Nut treatment might work fantastic for you. I'd also rinse hair with cooler water, use sulfate free shampoo, and minimize heat usage. Chi cream heat protectant is really great. Less washing let's hair enjoy natural oils, so to keep from over washing, try a dry shampoo. Loreal also makes a killer hair mask that's not expensive. Perhaps try once weekly.

My suggestion would be a hair repair system. I use Pro Naturals for 1 week in every 6 weeks. For the other hair wash days I use Australian Tea Tree shampoo & Conditioner, but I always use the Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil leave in treatment before blow drying and styling. I find this regime keeps my hair in tip top condition.
