Just looking for a good face exfoliator as I thought for some reason I'd try pulp fiction by soap and glory on my face and it broke me out bad!

As far as I know, oatmeal is okay. But sugar is way too rough for you skin! Be wary of DIYS because they typically suggest things like sugar, baking soda and lemon juice. They sound like their good to use on the skin because they're fresh and natural, but those along with a multitude of ingredients used in DIYS are far too harsh and harmful to your skin.

I've used sugar on my face and it's fine because it melts at body temperature - but I wouldn't recommend it for every day use - I only use it like once a month - but it's the only scrub I'm willing to exfoliate with - otherwise I stick with chemical exfoliants that way more gentle that I can use every day.

Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa Apricot and White Tea facial scrub. It is literally a godsend. The only thing is that it's discontinued, however, you can still buy it on Amazon.

I like St I've's apricot scrub! I've been using it for a while and I noticed my face is much more brighter and even toned.

I like the st Ives apricot scrub but you could also go with sugar and olive oil.

It's actually common to break out from exfoliation at first because you are removing a layer of cells and debris will be able to surface. That is how the skin cleanses itself.
