Options Please, For Wavy Hair.

So I'm going to cut my hair, and it's going to be above my shoulders maybe a little shorter, and I was wondering what kind of heat less hairstyles that can give me wavy hair but still keep my length. So are there any options? Pictorials would be very helpful and any pictures??

When you curl/wave your hair it's going to appear shorter no matter what, just saying. you could try braiding it or you could use a crimper(:

Sea salt spray, braids, there's tons of tutorials on YouTube. but as Alyssa said, no matter what your hair will appear shorter.

I have really short hair and my hair is naturally straight with random waves and curls in between and I find it hard to impossible to be able to braid my whole head in a way that makes it all wavy. You have to think the bottom layer in the back of your head is going to be rather short! But if you have hair that waves easily sea salt sprays and hair gels are the way to go. You could also do a couple of braids on damp hair and sleep with them in.

I have naturally wavy hair and I usually just scrunch it up with Redken Curvaceous Creme to my hair, use a diffuser with low cool air and it comes out good.
