I need something quick, simple but I don't want to look like I don't belong there. I'm thinking about wearing dressy pants and a blazer, is it OK? I'm so desperate I don't like dressing up so much :'(

I was the same way at my prom, I ended up wearing a dress anyways because I knew no other girls were going to be wearing slacks and whatnot. It was totally fine. I wore a plain black dress and silver heels. You're going for you, not anyone else, wear what you want, just stay in dress code.

I would still wear a dress, you'll really stick out if you're wearing pants, or at least wear a skirt.

Just wear a dress, you don't have to get too extravagant with it, but you should wear one, since you did say you don't want to look like you belong(:

You can always wear a ladies tuxedo jacket with silk lined pocket Capri pants and geels. H & M has them right now.

A romper is a great idea! I would definitely still wear a dress.

Rompers are hardest thing to fit me! I'm 5 feet tall and we don't have any stores with petite section here. I can't find a dress either, it's too difficult to find a dress that fits

I think I'll check h&m. Should I wear black? I was thinking about pastel colors?

Honestly I don't think pants/jacket is a bad idea! I personally went for a dress at my prom, but that's because I wanted to. If dressing up like that isn't your thing, don't wear it!! Feel comfortable and happy in what you want, don't try to "fit in". It's about having a night all about you!! 😊

H & M had black and also white tuxedo jackets and pants (separates) when I was there last week. I bought a killer "leather" trimmed, slim cut blazer, but really loved the satin lined pieces.
