I've been growing my hair out for a little more then a year and it's only mid length. My hair is dirty blonde and thick and curly. The ends are crispy and dry. My hair color is a full blonde. How can I help my hair restore its luster and shine? I tried to do a hot oil hair mask once and it made.my hair look wet and greedy for two says, and I have externally dry hair which was weird. Also how can I make my hair color not full? Should I dye it?

Have you tried Moroccan Argan oil? You apply it to your roots and it helps with dry hair and chlorine damage.

Ya, and make sure it's pure argon oil. it should come in a dark can & be a bit pricey, not the clear organix kind.

I have thick, curly hair as well. And typically it's dryer in the winter/summer seasons to which I'll use a leave in conditioner just on my ends, which tend to be the worst. While in the shower, I actually will condition my hair first, put it up in a clip and wash my face/body and shave. then I'll rinse it out and shampoo my hair and then apply leave in conditioner, comb it through, making sure my ends get the most.
I have tried oils before and they just make my hair feel awful and look just absolutely disgustingly dirty.
Products I use and swear by are Suave! I use EVERYTHING by them. Great products and inexpensive!
but what works for one, won't always work for another. You may need to try oils for yourself as others here have suggested.
it's all about process of elimination until you discover what works for you!
Best of luck!

Switch to sulfates free shampoo, massage scalp with coconut oil or almond oil leave for half an hour and wash out with clarifying shampoo. Use serum or argan oil and leave to dry naturally.

My mom havr curly thick hair and we used to go swimming she statted to have very dry hair and the shine went away so a lady gave her a very nice trick that even those days she doenst go swimming she use it you need: a tablespoon of your regular conditioner and 4-5 drops of baby oil or argan oil you mix it up and wear with out washing it it will help you to untanggle and will keep it moist and shinny with out been extra oily... sometime I use it and I have thich but straight hair.
