So I read an article on how it's going to take over contouring but honestly does just highlighter make a huge difference.

What is strobing? Just highlighting?

I highlight sometimes and have never contoured in my life haha. I personally like the look of it as long as it's not super overpowering..

Taylor G it's where you just highlight the places light naturally hits but no contour.

Oh that's interesting I already do that and I love the glow I have when I just highlight without contouring.

It definitely looks pretty and natural but I can see it going bad if a person overdoes it (similar to contouring)

My goodness seems to me everyone likes to change the name up for a old technique just to revive something into a trend lol it's basically the Radiance finish Yup that's what it is, but to cool it up someone thought to call it strobing and I'll guarantee you there will be a great amount of disco divas over doing it. It's beautiful when done right and I'm almost positive most already do it but well ;)

I thought it was just called highlighting haha :) I do this everyday, I either use Benefit High Beam or Laura Gellers baked highlighter in Toasted Coconut. I love the look it gives me but there's a very fine line between glowy and overpowering.

It is just intense highlighting. I highly suggest checking out Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight if you are looking for an amazing highlighter!
