The essence brow pencil (the twist up not the regular pencil) is actually very similar in texture and effect! Totally check it out I believe it was two dollars.

The Ardel mechanical brow pencil with a spoolie on the end is WAY better than the Anastasia brow wiz!! I used the brow wiz for years until I bought the ardel on at Sally's for like 5 or 6 dollars. It's amazing, best brow product I've ever used and the colors are perfect!

I think the lorac one performs similar but is just as expensive if not more. It's a bit harder if I remember correctly but that's about it.

This week I've been testing out one I received in my Ipsy bag by the brand Chella and it is a very close dupe to brow wiz. It's still $18 though so not much cheaper.
