It can be dangerous to take if you aren't biotin deficient, so check with your doctor first. A safer way to use it would be a biotin infused shampoo and conditioner. Ogx makes a biotin & collagen collection, I had pretty decent results with it.

This isn't much of a question to ask beautylish as it differs per individual. This is something to ask your doctor.

YYYYAAAAASSSS!! I take biotin supliments and it really does aid in hair growth. The only NEGATIVE is that depending on the dose you take you can cause yourself to have bad acne. taking it in a smaller dose is good. taking it with water and eating healthy can also aid in hair growth. try to incorporate protine (not too too much) in your diet. protine is the building blocks of skin and hair cells so that helps too. LAST tip I promise!! try to use a sulfate free shampoo and or conditioner. sulfates can damage hair. at the moment I use baby shampoo because the sulfate content is lower and I use Organix sulfate free conditioner! good luck on your hair journey

Also like they said you should ask your doctor but know that Biotin is a B complex vitamin and sometimes is reffered to as vitamin H meaning it is water soluable so you CANNOT overdose on it. but taking too much can cause acne :3

Biotin should not be taken if you are not Biotin deficient. Taking Biotin without a Biotin deficiency can cause sickness, acne and even hospilitisation, due to the fact that the levels of other vitamins have to go down for the levels of Biotin to go up. You should already have enough Biotin in your body to be sufficient. Biotin-rich foods include chickens eggs, cows milk, leafy greens and proteins.
Definitely consult your Dr who will be able to tell you if you have a Biotin deficiency.
