I'm feel like people will disagree with me haha but I think overrated are a lot of stuff from mac. I have the 15 cool neutral pallette and I don't think it's that good at all I think you can get better quality eyeshadows for half the price and also studio fix fluid I have other foundations a quater of the price that do a better job
Over rated hmmm I would say morphe brushes they have such good reviews and are a really good price I'm going to be buying a set soon. Also borjios I don't know if you have it in America but I love it! The foundations are so light yet give good coverage and they smell edible not like paint which my studio fix fluid does :)

Lol Charlotte, I agree with you. Every one raves about Carbon and it because "the blackest matte black" but I've honestly gotten better ones from the drugstore. I also think the Too Faced Chocolate bronzes are really over rated, they're honestly nothing special.
For underrated, I haven't seen a lot about Milani lipsticks and they are absolutely incredible! They go on nice, they feel good on the lips and they also smell incredible.

Over rated for me is nars radiant creamy concealer, I'm sad to even say it because I wanted to love it! It creases like crazy on me and I've never had that problem with other concealers and its not creamy it has more of a dry texture imo. My other concealers are way more creamy. I will finish it though because it was very expensive but I won't repurchase.
Another over rated product is urban decay 24/7 eyeliners. I bought the Christmas set with four of their best sellers and they are really bad. They smudge so bad and are a nightmare to sharpen because they keep breaking, they are too soft. I really regret buying that set.
under rated are bourjois, pretty much anything from their line I love, I especially love their powders and foundations.

Over rated - Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, I just didn't see the hype everyone was on about. First of all, the lightest shade was still too orange for me, also, I don't feel like I gives as much coverage as everyone said it did.
Underrated - like Rebecca said, Bourjois. I really like their Colour Edition 24hr cream to powder eyeshadows and their lip products also look pretty good.

Overrated - Benefit 'High Beam is totally overrated to me, it's far to shiny and shimmery to be used as a highlight. LimeCrime is heavily overrated too, I hate the brand and the person running it. I'm going to go with the Urban Decay 24/7 liners too, they smudge so much and break whilst sharpening because they're too soft.
Underrated - NYX lipsticks and liners. I adore these and have about 25 lipsticks and 3 liners and they're amazing! Laura Geller baked highlighters, shadows and blushes. These are AMAZING. I wasn't a fan of her baked foundation but the highlighter of hers that I use is the only one that looked actually okay on my skin :)

Overrated - Better Than Sex Mascara - literally went clump town all over my lashes. Underrated - Hourglass Brow Archer, Buxom Show Some Skin foundation, & Mac Prep + Prime Lash!

Overrated benefit porefessional. I mean its good and all but its no magic esp for oily skin.
underrated: soap and glory scrub your nose in it. I don't know why people haven't tried it enough to rave about it the way I do lol

I agree with Lili R...Nars audacious lipstick is underrated. to me, it's the best lipstick I've ever owned.
another underrated product is Tarte brow mousse. I only see people talk about Anastasia but you definitely should give Tarte a try. it's so easy to apply and you don't have to worry about being "light-handed" as with Anastasia

For me Josie Maran argan oil is way too overrated. First that, it doesn't even smell like argan oil(but pure argan oil doesn't have a pleasant smell), second, it hardly looks any closer to "liquid gold". Real argan oil should be rich yellow color and smell very nutty almost like its rancid.

And I agree with Jacqlyn W. on Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup. It is indeed very nice, used it when I had bad break outs and was very happy with it :)
