I was always told that if I wear too much make up I was going to get wrinkles ("age faster") how much truth is in that?

If you take care of your skin, remove your makeup at night and use good cleansers and moisturisers makeup won't age your skin faster!

Like Sabrina said. Taking are of yourself with skincare and removing makeup properly it shouldn't matter how much makeup you wear. Also, not tugging and pulling your skin so harshly works too. :)

Hmmmm that very depends on what you are using!
If you use a foundation high in solvent alcohol (I'm looking right at you Dior!) Alcohol creates free radical damage, breaks down collagen production and creates irritation. Foundation is left on the skin so no matter if you remove it youre5still damaging it.
If you are worrying about aging I would pay close attention to ingredients and make sure you use SPF. Pay special attention to what your primer contains too as I've seen some primers loaded with some bad stuff. Fragrance loaded products also break down collagen and speed up aging, this includes natural fragrance (Such as lavender, ecualyptus, cinammon, etc.)
Its all dependant on what's in the product :)

I believe that myth originated back around at our grandma's generation when they started getting wrinkles and quickly people thought of makeup. But actually I think the real bad guy was the sun and not taking proper care of the skin. Even though now we do use a lot of makeup, we do have a much longer and well thought skin care routine, so I think this counter attacks the possible damage caused by makeup.
