^ I always feel like that diggie! Any kind of product recommendations I always assume are just marketing ploys to get you to buy the product - unless I tried it out myself and I know I like - I only trust real consumer opinions and you beauties here on BL cause at least you all are honest and will tell me what's up.

I never do. Not even when my favorite you tubers or insta personalities mention something because they are probably receiving those products for free and are basically kissing butt I the company. Some people don't and are very honest but they're hard to find.

I agree with all. If it's a big investment, do research and ask as many people as possible. If it's under like $20, I'd probably just go for it.

I agree do your research 1st and like Hannah said a lot of them are ither paid by companies or given product so the opinion might be a bit biased.

I agree with Alexis. Plus a lot of beauty bloggers and 'gurus' are sent products or are paid by companies to recommend or feature products, even if they personally hate them themselves

Well I don't watch Jacqlyn Hill specifically but anytime any beauty guru I watch recommends something that catches my interest I still do my own research. Just because they love something and it works for them doesn't mean I'll get the same result.

How do you guys feel about purchasing products Jaclyn Hill recommends? I personally love her and everything I've tried that she uses seems to be of quality. But before I spend anymore money, I would like to get a second opinion from fellow makeup addicts! xoxo.
