I got a few things for Christmas from Forever 21 that just don't fit. And since the clothes were a gift I feel bad asking for the receipt to return/ exchange them! So I was wondering what the return policy is for Forever 21? Will they take returns without a receipt?

I don't think you'd be able to return them without a receipt :/ but maybe try to give it to a friend it might fit or if nothing works out give it to clothing donation :)

Since their return policy is so bad, maybe you could sell them on poshmark?

I once got a crappy necklace from there without thinking about either I really liked it or not, it was cheap, the price is what caught my attention honestly lol. I went back a few hours later and told them that I didn't want it, but the receipt had magically disappeared into thin freaking air & they took it back and said that they could only give me store credit. Which of course, nothing in there was as cheap as the necklace, haha.

1. They do exchanges or if the item you have is no longer available they will give you the price the item was last as money on a gift card; I've had it happen.
2. They do not take back or exchange any jewelry, undergarments, shoes, or makeup items.
3. They will not do anything without a receipt and you only have 20 days from the time of purchase to exchange what you don't like or doesn't fit.
Of course, some stores and cashiers are a little nicer than others and if you explain the situation can sometimes tweak the policy; but I've only had that happen once. The return policy is horrible which is why I don't let family and friends but me things from there; because there is no way to really take it back if it doesn't fit or I don't like it... :(

They allow exchanges and that's only within a certain timeframe.

I work there and I hate the return policy. Usually you have 21 days to return the item for a store credit or another item of the same amount. They extended this to I think the 4th or maybe a few days longer. You must have your receipt with you or else they get really mad and bitchy.
