I took offense to it because 1. I didn't know about yesterday's post and 2. It's just my opinion that there's nicer ways to disagree with someone. To each her own. Clearly I have no clue what went down so I'm going to keep myself out of it, already regret sticking my foot in it. I don't wish to debate or get more into thoughts on it. Just sorry, and let's carry on being a community of women who all help each other out. I definitely love this site and really appreciate all the great info I get from you ladies. Personal matters I will absolutely stay out of! 😁👌

This matter is extremely opinionated, I don't know why she thought it was a good idea to post this. There's so many things that are different about everyone, that being said, brushes are most likely going to give a different finish on certain skin types with certain foundations, blushes, bronzers, etc. Since there still aren't any pictures posted, I feel the need to leave this alone because I don't know if an "experiment" really even took place, honestly.

I feel like it depends on the person. For example I would never shell out my money on high end expensive brushes. Just my opinion, it's just a freaking brush, and it's just freaking makeup. I like what I can do with a random kabuki and broken elf brush, or some sponges. But that's just me-I don't spend much money on makeup either, just because it seems silly to me. But many other people have a different outlook, which is fine. I think you can give your opinion and share experiences, but forcing your view that expensive ones are better or cheap ones are just as good is dumb.
I like that you tried this experiment! Sounds kool.

Shanae, I actually posted this because the other thread was locked down after it turned into a debate and because I genuinely tried this when I got home. Even though I disagreed with Sandra, I kept an open mind about it. And I was surprised that my opinion changed about using synthetic brushes for powder products.
I agree, different skin, foundation, primers etc. will effect the way a brush performs. On bare skin the high end brush performed perfectly with no extra work. The other did not. For me, because I use a fair amount of loose powder, highly pigmented products, the difference in performance between the two brushes really made me rethink my brushes.
You are just going to have to trust me, to believe the results. I'm not some wacko that goes around making up giant lies and huge posts about them. I know that's a lot to ask to believe that, but most people are fundamentally honest, I think. I usually give the benefit of the doubt. Please try to do the same for me.

Like the saying goes, you got to see to belive.
Theres a saying in spanish that says "las palabras se las yeva el viento", meaning the wind carrys the words or takes the words, meaning words dont mean anything cuz they are just words u got to act on it
