This line has some horrible customer reviews plus corporate drama (accusations of them stealing company name from another and false advertising).

Haha wow. I'd never heard of it before.

I haven't seen anything from them in ages and I just kinda forgot about the line. I hope you didn't sign up for auto ship? I heard folks having a hard time trying to get out of that.

I wonder if this is the company that used to be Earthen Glow minerals?. If you read the reviews of EGM on Amazon you will see the same drama, and the massive amounts of complaints against them. Weirdly, I had a positive experience with Earthen Glow. I found their customer service responsive and helpful, their prices good and their products pretty darn good. After my Bareminerals foundation quit covering my rosacea (and before BM came up with the green mineral tint to work with rosacea), I got some foundation from Earthen Glow. It was much high coverage than the BM and actually worked to cover. It was just a sample size though, and I backed off from doing a full order when I started reading up on caring for rosacea skin. (Basically mineral foundation and the swirling and buffing associated with it will irritate rosacea.)
Their eyeshadows were really awesome, though, loose pigments and super inexpensive, especially if you got the sample sizes. I have a whole bunch of pressed pans that I made out of about $20 in pigment samples.
In general it's a good idea to avoid free trials of anything that will turn into an auto ship and deduction from your credit card. I did this once with some stupid weight loss tea and it took me ages to get it all sorted out with my credit card. In the end the credit card company reversed every single charge and I never paid a dime for the tea. What a hassle. LIVE AND LEARN.
