So I'm doing an online haul on Sephora and I want to know what you guys think about these products: -Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit -The Real Steal ( comes with They're Real mascara, push up liner, & remover ) And then the Smashbox Full Exposure palette... What are your opinions? Good products? Worth to buy?

I loveeeee the push up liner, when you run out of the remover make sure you purchase a waterproof remover because a normal one won't work for the liner

Unpopular opinions here... The Anastasia contour kit is SO bad for contouring. Every shade is too warm to actually do what contouring is meant to do, and I've never seen someone do a contour with it that wasn't horrid and obvious. They're real...I hate it. The whole line. Everything about it. The mascara is horrible and clumpy, it doesn't define my lashes at all and it doesn't lengthen. The push up liner...I wouldn't use this if every other eyeliner I had fell into a volcano. It's impossible to use, impossible to remove, if you click it even a bit too much the liner will ball up and won't apply at all, it's not very black, and the tip is just horrendous. I've never tried the Smashbox palette, but I do hear good things about it.

Thank you Hannah! I couldn't agree more on ABH Contour Palette. Since it came out it always confused me because they looked like bronzers which isn't for contouring... Now I do love ABH for brow products though. As for Benefits mascara, its alright but I don't get the hype. It made my lashes look okay but I've tried better mascaras, it also was hard to get off and made my lashes break and fall out. I've also heard terrible reviews on the Push Up Liner, and I didn't like it at all when I swatched it in store. I have heard the Full Exposure isn't so great, but I recently got the Double Exposure Palette and I really love it! I recommend a primer, but I recommend using a primer for any other eyeshadow brands.

Agree with Hannah on the ABH contour kit and push up liner. I really, really wanted to like the contour kit but yeah... the shades all seem to warm and I barely use it now. :(

Savannah, what type of products are you interested in? Honestly I might be able to give opinions on all of Sephora at this point :) but I definitely need some direction. Palettes? Lipsticks? Blush? :)

Alex, I have the mascara already.. I LOVE IT!
& Hannah, honestly anything. I'm leaning towards palettes, mascara, eyeliner, or foundations... But really just anything you like in general. Favorite products you've bought?

I also absolutely hated the Benefit They're Real mascara and push up liner. It was not that dark and the formulas were hard to work with for me. I've had better luck with plenty of drugstore products over these two items sadly.
But I do own the Full Exposure palette and I really like it. I find mine to be nicely pigmented and easy to blend. The glittery shades apply nicely with a wet brush without too much fallout.

Traci, that's what I was wondering about he palette; if the glitters had fallout. Thanks!

Recent favorites: Palette wise, I've been utterly loving my Kat Von D Innerstellar palette. Here's my review on that, but if it's too long and ridiculous to read the general gist of it is that the palette is gorgeous, has a great array of colors, and is my favorite Kat Von D palette of the 5 that I own. http://www.beautylish.com/t/yvszvm/okay-I'm-sorry-the-longest-motdreview-ever
Mascara, Perfekt Lash Perfection Gel. It's amazing for length and separation, and I use it in conjunction with the Diorshow Lash Primer for lashes so awesome that my own mother will question whether or not they're mine. Both products together are simply the greatest combo. I love the Perfekt though because it has a really awesome skinny brush that separates all of my lashes and a nourishing formula that isn't bad for your eyelashes like almost every other mascara.
Eyeliner...Check out two. The Kat Von D Lightning Liner, which is glorious. It's a totally metallic liner that comes in 4 shades, it's so easy to apply, you have to twist it so that the liquid comes out, but that's awesome because then the eyeliner can't go bad. It has a brush tip like her Tattoo liner, though. I have Poe and Hex and they're glorious. Any Urban Decay eyeliners as well, I adore those and have every color they've ever made; Rockstar is my favorite shade.
Other items that are generally amazing. Bite Beauty, anything from them. Restina is my favorite nude shade at the moment, but I'm in love with their Matte Lip Cremes that are absolutely perfect, they have awesome shades, they're so easy to apply and they aren't drying at all. Hourglass products, their lipsticks are amazing, especially the shade Fever which is a really obnoxiously bright hot pink. Not Barbie-ish, it's a bit darker than that, but it's awesome.

Wow, thank you so much Hannah!! That was a lot of info, really useful info I may add 👌. I'm really tempted into getting the RCMA foundation you mentioned in your review because of how much you adored it. I've been trying to find a foundation just how you described that one! I looked at the Innerstellar palette and the colors are lovely, thanks a bunch!!

Thanks Gisell, I love Tarte too, I have clay matte palette (:

Girl trust me, I don't wear foundation ever. I will only be breaking that out for special occasions because it is a really high quality, high coverage product that isn't really designed for daily use, it would be a lot for my skin to go from wearing nothing to wearing that every day. And hey, that works for me. I'm not sure if I mentioned in my review of that foundation, but I have really super dry skin, and the RCMA is actually better for that so if you're on the oilier side I'd probably skip it. If you have normal skin you could probably get away with it, though =)
I'm really very happy to help, anytime!

So since you stated that, is there a foundation you like for an everyday use? My skin is quite normal so I use whatever lol.
Jan 7, 2015
Gisell G.
I personally love the tarte Amazonian clay foundation, the tarte bb cream (for everyday use) & I've heard great things bakht the naked skin foundation.

I also like the Estée Lauder

Savannah, like I said, I actually don't wear foundation basically ever. I'll wear it every now and then when something important is happening, but it's not a normal or regular thing for me. It might work for you if your skin is used to foundation, but it's a professional foundation so I'd make sure to take the time to learn about it before you invest =)

Savannah it took some experimenting to figure out the sparkle shades but I've gotten them to work for me now without issue. I start by using a lid primer, I use Urban Decay's anti aging. Then I apply any shadows that aren't sparkly first, then go into the sparkle shades with a wet brush and tap/push it into place. If I am going to be out and about and don't want to worry about touch ups I finish it with a setting spray as well and they never crease on me and I have very minimal fallout. Hope this helped.
