That looks exactly how eyeshadows look when you wet them or the brush, and they aren't made to be used wet. Is it possible that the brushes you're using are wet/damp?

Because I have the same palette and mine isn't like that!

When applying do you wait until all products on face is set and dry? Is the product soft or a bit hard in texture?

I had the same problem with a Tarte palette and I also noticed it was happening to other products I was using as well. Turns out it was the brush I was using. I'm not sure why that was the problem, it was always clean, not wet and somewhat new but every time I used that specific brush it would make my products like that. I just changed brushes and it didn't happen again. Do maybe switch brushes?

I would return it again and get one at a diffrent sephora or ulta! That's so wierd that it's happened twice!

That sucks, it happened to a Mac blush I had one time. The only difference is though that mine still worked perfectly. I wonder...

It's just a build up this sometimes happens with a semi/matte product and product transfer. Do you use hydrating products Or any products it just happens but mostly on like mentioned matte hard products.

Normally that happens due to a build up of oil on a brush that is then placed in a powder product, and I find that it also happens with products that have a lot of fillers.

They won't have build up on the displays they need to make sure of it. This is so hard for me to explain on text comment lol but I assure you some products with that certain finish will do it.

I can't help with your issue, but I have a suggestion: I steady of scraping the top of the products use a piece of tape and it will remove everything evenly:)

When I was working at Clinique there was a trick we used to clean our blushes when too much oil would build up on them and it would turn crusty on the top. We took a piece of masking tape, sticked it on the top and it pulled all the dirty oil right off.
