What are your experiences and what works best for you? I tried coconut oil on dry hair but it didnt do so much for me😔 I saw better results on damp hair. I want to know which way works best for extra virgin olive oil? Thankyou!

I do mine on dry hair, but some people do it on damp or wet hair. I find that it works better on dry hair for me. I do a mixture of a bunch of different oils, but on a lazy day, I just do coconut oil. Maybe since it didn't do much, try it on damp hair.

Definitely dry hair!! I do this all the time on wet hair it will just make it greasy. It is more beneficial to dry hair and it works best when left for about 30 mins to an hour. And trust me you have to do over a period of time for it to work, hope this helped😚

Thanks girls! I did the coconutoil thing a couple of times overnight on dry hair and washed it out. I really wished that I saw results 😔 I will deff try some olive oil on dry hair. But I read that if you put it on damp hair it locks the moisture in? Could not really get an clear answer from google hahah.

That's what I've heard, but I guess it depends on the hair? Haha I have no clue. But with wet hair, I don't get as good results as I do with dry hair. Try putting a shower cap on if you didn't do that. & just leave it on as long as possible.

I looooove coconut oil on my hair, it seriosly gave my hair new life :) I do mine like Shanae, put it on dry hair, I use a lot so mig hair is soaked in it, and leave it for hours and hours when I have the time :)

Try putting it in dry hair then blowdry it a little every now and then. I put mine in and leave it for hours and blow dry it every hour or so. helps open the pores of your hair.

I use coconut oil on my hair after I get out of the shower on my damp hair. made it really soft & I had like no frizz :)

I did it once on dry hair, and loved it! It made most sense to me to do it on dry hair because oil and water repel each other off, and you might get a less effective/intense treatment with wet hair? I don't know for sure though, the effects seem to be great either way! :)

I personally found coconut/olive oil made my hair extremely greasy and it was very hard to wash out.

Oh really? :/ if I use coconut oil my hair doesn't feel moisturized or soft, just dry... So I think a more greasy/fatter oil should maybe work. I'm going to try the olive oil tomorrow night👍
