I've heard a lot about how curly hair gets curlier the shorter it is.. I have realllllyyyy curly hair, but lately I've felt like its been looking sort of dead , & its time for a change. Do you think it'll get kinkier or softer when short? Thanks 😏💕

The longer your hair is, the heavier it gets. So if your hair is long, it is weighing the curls down, therfore your hair isn't as curly. That's what I've heard.

Also, if you trim your dead ends it will make your curls stand out more and reduce the tangles that happen when you have long curly hair. Hope this helps!

Yes that's true, but if you're hair is just naturally not that curly then it won't make it super curly if that makes sense?

I had that issue a few years ago because I did a lot of heat damage to my hair, but then I changed my hair care routine & started taking care of it & now my curls are super curly again.

Well my hair used to be super straight. If I ever curled my hair , they wouldn't last long. My hair was down to my lower back. But then I got it cute to my shoulders and now it's really curly.

You should try some curl defining spray. My grandmother was becoming self conscious about her hair becoming flat curls, so we went out and bought a curl defining spray and she loves it and her curls are very pretty because it just enhanced her natural curls.
