Do you know how to French braid your hair? I like creating braided updos for my friends and family: I french braid the hair in the front keeping the part where you want it, continue towards the back of the head, secure the braid then proceed in the same way (or you could try twisting it for a different look) on the other side. Then braid or twist the two braids together and make a low bun that you can pin. If you want to make it a bit messy, pull out small strands of hair by the ears and from the bun in the back.
You can see a few ideas on my profile, I really love changing it up! One was actually only one French braid that continued on to the nape of the neck- I finished the braid til the end and then I pinned it in a u-shape :)
