What Do You Do With Unused Makeup.

As I am posting this I am cleaning out my makeup collection. I don't own a whole ton but it does get overwhelming when I want to get ready. so you decided to clean out makeup I only used a couple times or some that expired. I was wondering what you girls do with makeup that can still be wearable. do you give it away or just throw it out?

I usually pass it on to my mom or cousin. Well only certain things. Mascaras, eyeliners, foundation I just throw out.

I know where I live some shops like chemists give you a discount on new makeup if you give them your old makeup so maybe try that?

Yeah I wouldn't give mascara or eyeliners away but maybe eyeshadows stuff like that and amy what stores can I give them old makeup for discounts?

If it's expired or its used mascara, eyeliner or anything like that just throw it out. Anything else you can give to your relatives or friends :)

I personally chuck all my older products in their own seperate makeup bag in case :) mascaras get thrown out though.

I give it all to my sister or my mom, usually powder products. Anything cream/liquid I'll throw away. Sometimes though if I buy a lipstick and I try it once and not like it, my mom will usually take it. Same goes for ipsy products I don't like - I usually give them to those two.

I throw out lipgloss/mascara/cream concealer in pots because those things are super hard to sanitize. Expired stuff I toss obvi.
The rest I put in a little bag and let my mom/girlfriends pick out what they want.

ALSO I've never done it myself but there's a website called Glambot you can actually sell used makeup on.

For the discounts I am pretty sure it was a life pharmacy chemist but that shop might only be in NZ I don't know.

If it's barley or gently used I would try to sell it and the rest I would just pass on to friends/family
