Has anyone tried the BareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation? I have combination skin that's oily in some parts and dry in others, not to mention the mild acne. I was wondering how good this foundation would be for my skin type? Are there any better BareMinerals foundations you would recommend? I would reeeeeeeally like a foundation that actually makes my skin look good! Thank you!

I really did not like this stuff. I have oily/combo skin and it just made me look like an oil slick. I found it to be very heavy looking and feeling on the skin and it sank into every pore and line. total disappointment. BUT their new tinted moisturizer that came out is wonderful. I feel like it's their apology foundation for doing such a crapph job on the first liquid one. I think it's called complexion rescue. it's very sheer but buildable to a medium coverage. I've been using it for the past 2 weeks and really like it.

I work for bareMinerals, and I'll be honest, I hate Bare Skin lol. I'd say to go in and try it just to see for yourself if there's a boutique near you, but otherwise, I'd recommend either the matte formulation, or our new Complexion Rescue. :)

I hate every bare minerals product I've bought and there are quite a few lol but I'm kind of intrigued by the complexion rescue. They've just burned me so many times...:(

There are quite a few, depends on what kind of product. I truly believe that there are a lot of gems to be found, but I also think there are some duds lol. Are there any types of products you're interested in specifically, Angela?
I swear this isn't the salesperson in me talking, but I think everyone needs Complexion Rescue in their life. There's nothing out there like it, in my opinion, and it's gotten tremendous feedback! It's great because we're not marketing it as a BB cream, or a foundation, it's totally up to your interpretation. It's great for days where you are in a hurry and don't want a lot, but it's also buildable for the days you do. It also feels AMAZING on the skin, so hydrating and smooth. I am absolutely 100% in love with this. I usually use heavier foundations like KVD's daily, but since this came out, I've been using this and only this literally every day. It's fantastic. :)

I hate it! Such a waste of money lol. If you have any sort of oil on your face it makes it worse. It transfers so much, it doesn't last long at all, and it would look patchy sometimes. And the brush just makes it look streaky so I used a beauty blender, but I really had to blend it lol
