I know this isn't exactly related to the BL rules, but I wanted to share this little insight of mie with you all...
On the upcoming days to Valentines Day (or Singles Awareness Day ((S.A.D)) as I used to call it when I was single), I want you girls to treat yourselves. I want you to buy as much discounted chocolate and makeup and presents as you like (bank account limiting!) because you girls deserve it! You are all amazing and I love you all. I'm so happy to be part of this family and I wish I could meet every single one of you. Please, treat yourselves to what you want this Valentines and don't let all the smug couples take your happiness away!
Plus, there's a bonus of being single. Relationships (as I was quick to find out!) can get epensive very fast!
Although I am in a relationship, I still think V-Day is a commercialised, manufactured heap of crap that boosts sales between the Christmas-to-Easter drag.
Buy that makeup and that perfume and love yourself for treating yourselves, even if your bank account doesn't!

I really appreciate this! I've never had a date for Valentine's Day before and this year I'll be in an entirely new state where I basically don't know anyone. If finances allow after my move to NY I'll definitely treat myself to at least a little something!

I do not understand the concept of valentines day lol or why people get so worked up about it. It's not a real thing. It's a made up holiday so Hallmark and candy companies can profit lol. I have a boyfriend, have for 5 years and we treat it like just another day. BUT if you are someone who gets sad about it (you shouldn't) definitely do something nice for yourself.

Thanks.. I never had a date for Valentine's Day and when I was going to , the guy broke up with me a week before Valentine's Day. I appreciate your love and I'm definitely going to treat myself.. I might read a book , drink some tea , exercise , listen to some jazz , or probably eat chocolate 😊

Thank you, this is so true!! I'm in a relationship, but I've never been on a date on Valentine's Day unless you count him bringing me subway lol. Definitely going to go to the mall and splurge a little!! :)
