All lip plumpers work more or less the same way: they have some ingredient that irritates your lips, causing them to be inflamed and be bigger. Personally that is not something I really want in a makeup product. My lips definitely look fuller when they are well hydrated, so using a balm that soaks in and also leaves a protective layer will help with moisture loss. Of course good skin care on lips (I use sugar scrubs and a retinol cream on my lips) will help keep your lips looking the best they can under lipsticks, etc so that you can build up your lip look that way.

If this isn't a lip plumper and it's the thing that does it without a gloss, it's a plastic thing (I can't think of the word!) they work but it's very temporary, the swelling goes away after 10 minutes or so.

Na, all a gimmick. I've owned quite a few lip plumping lip glosses and they were all given away.

Plus it's from aliexpress, so there's a good chance that it's dodgy or may not even come at all! Good reviews mean very little, as the sellers frienfs and family may have written them.

It only does the job for so long.. like the ladies above said. You'd have to pop it out and plump your lips every 10 minutes.

You can use a shot glass, line it up to your lips and suck the air out of the glass and you'll get the idea of what the plumper does and how fast it fades away.
