I think so. It's also great for your sinuses. I do them a lot in the Winter because I live in a very dry climate, and it really helps moisten the inside of my nose and throat. Plus it's relaxing.

When you sweat, you are dehydrating your body..so I think using steam properly is vital to health.

Well, the article describes how using certain types of products in conjunction with steam might benefit you. I run really dry and use a body scrub of coconut oil, Jojoba oil, organic sugar (or brown sugar) and pure vanilla. It keeps my skin so soft after a shower. I also use CeraVe wash and a nice, thick moisturizer..avoiding 'hot' long showers. which dry me out. Maybe you can try something like that.
