It's definitely worth it for me. I have painterly and I use it everytime I use eyeshadow. It makes my shadows last a long time with no creasing or fading. I have very oily eyelids too. I'm sure they look great on their own too.

Is it better than the urban decay primers?

I have Mac soft ochre paint pot. I've been using it ever since I got it. I love it!! I haven't touched my UD primer ever since lol.

I think the paintpots are much better than urban decay primer potions (I've tried them all).

@Lauren C have you tried setting it with some powder before you put on eyeshadow? that's what I do...

I love my Painterly paint pot! I have visible veins and slight discoloration on my lids and it works great :)

I agree with Jacqueline that the UD Primer is too greasy. And to Lauren, I set my eye base with a skin color eyeshadow before I start my transition color.

I have been using the Layin' Low paint pot and it's a perfect match to my skin tone, it evens out the darkness around my eyes and I always dust a bit of translucent powder over it before I use eyeshadows over it and it lasts all day long, without any creasing. I love this product and will definitely be repurchasing.

They work good, I like soft ochre.
You really only need a small amount like Jacqueline stated.
I remember when I first used it I put too much and it didn't really dry then my oils started producing and it would crease
So when I used less, it actually dried and worked great plus no creasing whatsoever

I'm about to go back to using MAC paint pots because my UD has turned on me. My aging lids can no longer handle it and it causing difficulty when I'm trying to blend colors on my lid. And I don't use that much product to begin with so its very annoying.
