I get dry eyelids to I usually put some Neosporin on them before bed and in the morning they feel much better.

Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, Aquaphor or Neosporin, as Erin suggested for now. I would see the doctor for patches if these are recurrent, but if you are just running dry and there are no bumps, irritation or redness, I use Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream and Coconut Oil to keep my lids soft and hydrated. I also love Jojoba and Sweet Almond Oil.

Never put cortisone near your eyes, glaucoma can develop in as little as two weeks. Eczema, if it is what you have on the eyelids is very dangerous located there. I would not play with random remedies and go see a derm immediately if I were you.

Certain oils are incredibly beneficial for skin and help seal in moisture while providing soothing relief. Not all oils are created equal, but adding certain oils can leave skin btighter, plumper, softer and ease dryness beautifully.

Aryana...have you found any relief yet? If they are recurrent patches, I hope a dermatologist can be of help. The eye area is especially delicate and so please update us if you have found positive change. My best to you...

Yeah well some oils are but I don't recommend it because it can be hard to apply (many ppl use almond oil, but that is the one oil you shouldn't use on your fave because it actually dries the skin out) :).

Melody, Sweet Almond is repairative and absorbs into skin quickly. It has long been used to treat dry patches caused by skin conditions. Since it is high in monosaturated fatty acids it is incredibly moisturizing...making it an excellent choice for those who run dry. I use it extensively in my own skin care under my dermatologist's approval. It is great for mixing with Organic Coconut Oil and sugar for body scrubs as well. It is but one of several oils that I often recommend. While I respect that it certainly does not suit everyone's tastes and there are other oils people may prefer, I assure you it is not drying for most individuals. As with anything, there is always an exception to the rule, but as a whole it is remarkably beneficial.
No disrespect intended. I suppose we shall agree to disagree. :)
