To be honest I don't exactly grasp the difference between the contouring types. I don't even see much of a difference after it has been done. Not just on yours but other photos I have seen...
Just seems like a combo of all the regular stuff in one. I don't really know how to say it.

I don't belive in this technique or the skull one its just not normal to me because a clown is all white and wouldnt have involved contouring and the skull has way to many colors and designs and doesn't make it look natural, it doesn't look bad but the lighting is different in the last two pictures and if the blush is gone that means most likely the rest of the makeup was wiped of with that spong, making this look not as harsh as what it would have looked like with out the sponge what is it you thought was brilliant about this? I have personally never tried it just because it seems unrealistic to me but would like to know your thoughts on why you like it so much to better understand

I haven't tried it and I wouldn't either. It seems quite pointless to me! I watched Wayne's video on it and couldn't see much difference after he had finished.

Well Lili , since your curisous, let me explain. I found , on the part with the highligh on the cheeks blended well together and was less time consuming opposed to where I highlight , contour and apply a powder. I just put all the cream products where they go and blended with a sponge, slightly damped with setting spary. I don't like to say I don't believe in anything especially if I havent tryed it. I saw the pic ad to me it was a bit exaggerated and I didnt think it would blend out well but I just rigged it and used what would work and blend with my skin well. I was pleasantly surprised bc It dosent as heavy as when I do it the "normal" way. I believe they call it clown contour bc of the use of reds and pinks on the cheeks. It dose look comedic bc of how and where the product is put, but the girl who originally posted the pic said that people always made fun of her and called her a clown. So she did this. To me I saw this and thought she must have mad skills blending it out, not this is stupid. I don't think she was trying to show technique, it was just for fun.
Thank you for you input Rebecca
Thank you Livi Mille ,Reny , Bre.
Mille I have wanted to try with word , looks like fun. Maybe ill try that next

You said "and was less time consuming opposed to where I highlight , contour and apply a powder." I'm confused isnt this the same thing as a normal contouring and highlighting with the exception with the use of more product? Iv never felt my contouring and highlighting has looked heavy but more of natural part of my makeup.... I'm a thinker and try to use my commen sense as much as possible and thats why I don't belive in certain things even if I havent tried them but to each there own, thats interesting I never new this came from a girl who was called a clown thats creative I would have done actuall clown makeup if I was called that instead of contouring but I'm not as imaginative as a lot of people 😄

Less steps? How do you normally contour and highlight? I use poqder and just sweep and blend and its not time consuming at all unless i mess up and have to try and fix it lol
