I think it's a to each their own technique. I used it once before work (which I didn't even know it had a name to it!) and it did not turn out like this! I am a process person so I like steps. But I think this turned out pretty well without taking so many steps to do it.

Thank you Megan. but literally just applied the highlight, contour and redish pink is lipstick where they go and blended it out and just finished it with a settn powder and spray. the browns in the highlight really help it blend into a natural look.

I agree, your outcome looked really great and natural and I don't really care how you got there as long as your result is great. I haven't tried it myself though and I wouldn't opposed to it as it is just cream products applied at once rather than steps. I've been using a cream blush also and love it! By the way, love the red lippy. What is it?

Very interesting, I'm not a fan of the idea but the result came out great. Make up is about creativity and trying out new things :)

I agree Livi. I use a lipstick for the blush but after doing this , I will be investing in a cream blush. any suggestions? I'm using Nyx soft matte in Monte Carlo.

I'm sorry but I am against this "Instagram trend"
What a lot of people don't understand is that this does not look as good in real life as it does in pictures. I know because this is what I started doing to myself when I started. Whenever I want a flawless face for pics I tend to do something similar but less exaggerated.
I don't want you to think that people here are attacking you or trying to make you feel some type of way.
And I would definitely pay close attention to what ms Jackie and alma have to say about makeup because they really know what they're talking about.
And I believe her ig is Makeupbyalo or something... That girl does too much of everything. I will say that she knows what she's talking about most of the time but all that extra stuff he does is unnecessary. That's why I hit that unfollow button

OK I'm not one to play the "aye porbersita mi" everyone can have they're own opinions. the thread is open for everyones input. make up is about learning, always learning so of course I listen to everyones opinion and take them into consideration. But what works for some won't work for others, and that's fine.

Homegirl there are times where we just need to stay quiet and not reply because then we sound like assholes, not saying that you are one, but by the way you respond to people on here makes me think otherwise.
And I know that "whatever works for some won't work for other". I just stated my opinion saying I'm not for that clown contouring at all. I don't believe it nor do I recommend it.
And if I sound like an a.hole my self then sorry not sorry. ✋😒

And next time don't start a thread with a question that invites people like me to reply with an answer you might not like

Everyone needs to stop.
This is an interesting thread that is conducive to a discussion that is open to any and every opinion, and it could have been really great.
We may not all agree with each other but this is first and foremost a beauty forum; beauty starts on the inside and we're not all acting so beautiful right now. We do not tolerate unkind commentary, and furthermore we do not tolerate unkind commentary on other users' profiles. As everyone's mother always says: if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
We will now consider this thread closed, and I hope that everyone considers their own actions a bit more closely in the future.
