Hello everyone! I'm in need of some brow help, I have thick strong brows that I love but whenever I fill them in they can look "cartoony" no matter how much I brush them out. I think the problem for me is that I've been using an angled brush and powder to fill them in but I'm not sure. I'm looking for a natural looking brow product that will stay for a long time (8 hours+)

Loreal stylist brow plumping gel! It's a tinted gel that fills them in and keeps them in place, and it looks super natural!! It lasts a looong time too, pretty much until you wash it off lol. I would highly recommend it, I can't believe it's a drugstore product because it's a lot better than high end brow products I've used b.

Didn't mean to put the b at the end, haha.

Yeah, I would use a brow gel or brow mascara. I love Maybelline Master Drama Brow Mascara. Not too overpowering and gives brows a nice natural tint and filled in lock!

I dug the L'Or?al gel as well. Super easy. I still use Anastasia Dip Brow, but find myself reaching for the L'Or?al more and more.

Do you have any recommendations on a pencil product? I've tried a variety of gels and liked the concept but never loved the way the product felt (pretty major turn off)

Since it wasn't mentioned, I'll add my favorite, Maybelline Brow Drama. I actually use the shade dark blonde so not to overpower my already dark brows. It fills in the gaps, sets my eyebrows and softens the harshness because gaps are more visible when my eyebrow hairs are not in order and super dark :) a godsend on lazy days!

If you want a pencil, I don't know what to suggest because I use Italian brand eyebrow pencils, such as the one by Kiko and Collistar. But I find that I prefer a powdery pencil as opposed to a waxy one. You can always set with gel afterwards. If you want to try something different, I suggest you try MAC's Penultimate brow marker.. I love that stuff!

Thanks everyone! Breeze can you explain the MAC product?

Well basically it's a marker, you know like a magic marker, with a felt tip. It's got only one shade (universal) and it works to fill in gaps and to draw in single hairs. I love it because it looks super natural! You can check out my costume as a hipster guy here on my profile and you can see I added single hairs with this product on my eyebrows and a bit for the beard too! I love how undetectable it is :)

I too have thick, big brows and I've recently started using Maybelline's BrowSatin. It gives a beautiful coverage which you can build upon with the colour. This eyebrow filler has two ends to the 'pencil', the first one is to shape your brow with a creamy pencil (best I can describe) and the other is a defined sponge which has powder on it to fill the brows in. Looks natural and as I said you can build upon darkness the more you apply

I love thick eyebrows.
It's always easier to do them. Because they're naturally thick you don't need to use a lot of product. I would recommend to continue using a powder product. A light dusting of the powder on your eyebrows will look great. Less is always more in your case. I would also recommend the anastasia brow wiz pencils and sephoras waxy brow pencils they look similar to the brow wiz but they're more of a waxy product.
I would not reach for the anastasia dip brow or any other paste/pomade products because they are usually too pigmented and will make your eyebrows look really harsh.
I also have the it cosmetics universal brow pencil and it's a bit whack. I don't like the longevity of it.
Also try using a powder that is a tad but lighter than your natural hair for your brows
