Can I use glitter and Vaseline to make glitter eye shadow?

I personally wouldn't put Vaseline near your eyes.

Mmm... I don't think thats a good idea.

Vaseline isn't really good around your eyes. Plus, Vaseline is really "slippery" so it's just going to slide off your eyes if you know what I mean. You're best off purchasing glitter eyeshadows; you can find some pretty cheap.

Vaseline is not good for around eyes. There's a glitter adhesive primer (I think it's by Too Faced) which can be used to stick glitter to your skin. But make sure that the glitter is cosmetic-grade glitter and not commercial-grade glitter.

No. Vaseline is not safe for the eyes.
Also, just buying glitter is usually not safe for the face either. You need to get cosmetic glitter. I wouldn't risk it at all. Just buy cheap 2$ wet n wild glitter shadows from the drugstore.

Don't use craft glitter nor vaseline on your eyes. sally's has little pots with eye glitter and glue that is safe for eyes to use with the glitter I think they are $2 each.

You can always purchase loose shimmer powder! To make glitter/shimmer eyeshadow pop, I like to damp my brush or spritz it with Mac fix+ (or even water works). It packs on that shimmer & turns out beautiful!

Vaseline is not safe for use around the eyes. It is a sealant: it can clog lash follicles and block ducts, leading to bacterial infections like conjunctivitis (pink eye), sties, and other serious issues. Plus, it is viscous and will not set, meaning that it will crease and migrate.
Non-cosmetic or craft glitter is made of finely ground glass and silicate. It is not skin or eyes safe. If it gets in your eyes it can cause severe corneal abrasions, cuts, and permanent vision damage.
There are inexpensive cosmetic glitter eyeshadows that are safe and will look much better. Do not risk serious injury; spend a few dollars and do it correctly.
