Today I picked up a couple items from Ulta.. I promise you I can never go in there to just browse, I ALWAYS Come out with something.

Today I bought

- Maybelline Brow Mascara in Soft Brown

- Covergirl Ultra Smoothing Foundation

And a couple other repurchases, I'm just really interested if any of you have tried the products listed above! :)

I have the brow mascara and I really like it. On natural 'no makeup' days I only use it. On regular days, I put it on top of my brow pencil. It gives a nice natural look and helps them not move around :)

Would the brow mascara work to fill a bald area in the brow? Right now I have to pencil it in and it just feels tedious.

Emily, it really just works to fill in and make the hairs you already have look more natural and filled in.. I'm not sure how well it would look in a bald area.

I'm not too keen on Maybelline's brow mascara. I found it was easy to put on too much and get crispy brows. Not fun!

Emily, if you're looking for a gel to fill gaps then I'd look at Benefit's Gimmie Brow. I don't think it would cover a huge bald patch but it contains fibres which thicken the look of the brows and cover any small gaps that I have in mine :)
