Hey beauty's, I was wondering about contouring is there a difference between all the possible ways of contouring such as with sticks, powders and so on. I would want it to stay on majority of the day since I do have oily skin it tends to fade away through out the way I'm willing to try anything that works for y'all! Any brands, any tips, anything helps!

I'd recommend the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder for a true contour. Many of these contour kits are glorified bronzers, which are generally far too warm-toned and muddy for contouring. With contouring, you want to mimic a shadow. Shadows are grey and cool-toned and are in no way warm, orange or muddy. Contouring colour-wise, you are looking for a cool-toned grey or brown.

I like powders more than creams or sticks. I have all versions and I feel the bowser is faster and stays on just as long (-: I use the ABH contour palette but I think I'm going to get Hannah's reccomendation.

I would go with a powder since your oily.I also would recommend Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder it's a true shade and is one of the original contour product's. It's $44 but he also has a palette which I have as well that's $59 but I have found 2 alternative shades at a lower cost by Elf called Heroine in their Pocahontas palette $10 and the other is Selma Hayek Nuance line shadow in the color Putty $8.Here is my pic of a side by side of KA on the left and Heroine elf on the right. :) I will add that they in no way are dead on like Kevyn but for sure a great sub for it.
