I really need to grow out my eyebrows and eyelashes, so what oils do you recommend? I heard coconut oil, castor oil, almond oil, extra virgin olive oil, Rosemary oil, and way more oils are able to grow them out. But what oils do the best? Thanks.

Nothing is going to grow them out faster, just so you know. Oils will just moisturize the hairs, not make them grow any faster than genetics will allow.

I agree with Alexis C. I would also like to add that by putting oil on your eyelashes that you might get an infection.

Also, NEVER use Vaseline around your eyes. You can clog your pores or even your tear ducts.

The only oil thats safe near the eyelashes is coconut oil, because it's antibacterial. But it can clog the pores on your lashes, and it can cause ingrown hair and infection. It also doesn't allow the hair to fall out naturally, since it's sticky, and that can cause a lot of issues.
No oil is going to grow your hair. Just don't pluck or wax the places you want the hair to grow. Oils can condition the hair, but the cycle of hair on your face is very little and it really doesn't do any help, the only thing that can grow your eyebrows or eyelashes is latisse.

I know many girls here say oils don't help with eyebrow growth but the did help mine. During 3 years that I was in high school I tweezed my eyebrows like Gwen Stefani had her in the 90's. I stopped tweezing but they didn't grow, until I saw a video on you tube

I use castor oil and coconut oil but I added almond and rosemary oil. (1/2, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8)
I apply the oils with a mascara spoolie I brush them in the direction I want them to grow. I have fuller brows. I started seeing results in a couple of months.

I use Coconut Oil without incident as everyone's skin responds differently. I use it on my entire eye area sometimes, but I always recommend a test patch. As coconut oil is naturally antibacterial as well as antifungal it works well in keeping my lashes soft naturally. Some apply with a q-tip to keep oil on just the lashes themselves. Brittle lashes break and can fall out and so they may feel linger, but they arent...they are instead nourished. Only a prescription can grow lashes.

I'd also like to note not every Coconut Oil is created equally. I use Organic, Virgin, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil.
