Hello everyone :)

It's been quite some time since I've played with make up (Some stressful things going on right now) and I jumped on getting my first Viseart Palette.

Breeze's look yesterday was the inspiration I needed to get the ball rolling again!
You can see this Beauty's look here

I made a little collage of the steps I took. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Face:

For my facial prep I cleansed using my Saliclenz Cleanser by Rotational Therapy
I then followed with my Paulas choice BHA toner
I spritzed on my Clinique moisture surge mist and followed with Ole Henriken's Vitamin C serum
I then applied Embroylisse Lait Creme Concentrate and my choice of SPF for the day

My base face make up includes
My RCMA VK 11 Palette
I used the shade SH-7 to color correct under my eyes and my acne marks (I did set it with my RCMA no color powder ).
I applied this with my ring and pinkie finger

I then used the shade SH-1 on the Higher points of my face and the Shade SH-2 where the shadows are.
As you can see, I kind of swiped on the product on the areas I needed it to be at and then blended it all out using my Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Brush.

I set my base using the RCMA no color powder, and using my lovely Chikuhodo highlight brush I applied my BECCA highlighter in Champagne Pop.

Eyes
For my eyelids I first prepped with Tarte's 24/7 waterproof eyeshadow primer and then set with my RCMA powder for extra longevity
I used my finger to apply the primer and my MAC 217 brush to buff in the powder.

I then applied MUFE's eyeshadow in Eggshell (M530) all over my lid as my highlight and my inner corner.
I concentrated a bit more underneath my brow bone and inner corner. I did this with my MAC 217

Since I was going to be *trying* to blend together purple and green, I took a peek at the color wheel and picked a color between the purple and green, and just mixed my brush in red-yellow from my Viseart palette and applied that in my crease before hand. I did this just to help with the transition from the colors to my brow bone.
I applied this lightly with my MAC 217.

I then applied the lime green color from my Viseart palette using my MAC eyeshadow brush and also packed on the Purple.

I used my Chikuhodo z-10 to kind of guide the purple to the outter corner of my eye and then back in above the lime (does this make sense??) and blended it in.

I also applied a bit of yellow to help transition the green and Purple

Of course I finished off by applying the Inglot gel liner 77 and by adding my favorite highlight shade from the Limecrime Venus palette.

All done!

What do you guys think? I'd like to see some more members trying out colors!

This may be my 4th or 5th attempt at color!

WOWOWOWOWOW the bold cute is absolutely
perfect! I always go for a more natural look but I've always been so interested in getting into bold colors. I want to get the electric palette (I think by Urban Decay?) for a while now but I don't really know if I'm confident enough to actually wear a colorful eye. anyways, the look is flawless and perfect (:

@Isabel Aww thank you!
I am totally daring you to go get the UD Electric Palette and just give it a chance!
I promise once you start, you won't want to stop!

@Rozberry Thank you so much. I hope they make some sort of sense for anyone who's interested in trying out. It was more of a failed attempt to try out some collage tutorial idea I had lol

Thank you Melissa, I'm glad you like it ☺

@Jacqueline Thank you! Oh my god they apply blended, and with a brush like Chikuhodo's?
I find that applying primer doesn't even make a difference to the color pay off of these shadows. I am beyond tempted to just purchase the whole collection and never buy another brand again.
