I have curly hair and I want to know how to dry it without heat and without it becoming frizzy and poofy.

Try to put some type of hair oil or serum in it, I use the Loreal nutri oil for dry hair. I apply it on damp hair and then I blow dry with a diffuser attached

Use a cotton tshirt to asorb the water so wrap it around your head then apply oil or serum

This is a diffuser in case you were confused :)

To add to that, you can definitely use the cool setting on your dryer when using the diffuser if you're worried about heat.

You can try "plopping" too there's no heat involved and you get frizz-less curls.

I agree with Lody, I have light waves in my hair naturally, and I wanted to get them curlier so I tried the "plopping" method and it worked great! I just recommend letting your hair dry a tad bit before doing this, or else it won't dry. Plopping is where you lay down a t shirt, then lay your curls on it, with your head upside down, then pull up the sides of the tee shirt and tie them so they'll stay. Also, add leave in conditioner and some hair oil to relieve the frizz :)

I definitely suggest the the shirt method. But what I do with my curly/wavy hair is apply the products I use directly out of the shower when it's still dripping wet in order to reduce the frizz created by letting the hair dry then applying product. Then I let my hair air dry and it works perfect!

I apply products while my hairs still really wet. I just squeeze some water out with my hands and don't touch it with a towel. then I use some sort of leave in conditioner, an anti friz oil and then some curly hair creme or mousse. then I use the t shirt plopping method. If I had WiFi I would link you to the yitube video. just search plopping for curly hair and there should be a few videos. I only leave my hair in the shirt for 10-15 minutes or it gets frizzy.

I have wavy hair, and the bottom of my hair has really nice curls and I couldn't figure out why the top of my hair didn't have those nice curls also, so I'm still in the process of doing some experiments but what I have found that works for my hair is just leave it soaking wet out of the shower. I don't dry it with a towel or touch it at all cuz that's what makes it frizzy and I'm not using products cuz they weigh the curls down :)

I comb it and part it while I'm still in the shower
