So when ever I go to style my hair it lasts for about an hour tops. I then start to notice that it drops throughout the day. My hair is long, oily but quite fine at the same time. Is there any products or tips that anyone recommends?

Since no one else is commenting I'll give you a generic solution though I'm not really qualified to, I wear a headscarf :)
Use LOTS of hairspray! Or maybe hair gel/pomade will help you
Sorry I can't be more helpful

I have long, voluminous, dry hair so we have opposite problems haha! I will try to help you the best I can though! I have naturally wavy hair so to help accentuate my natural waves, I put my hair into two French braids overnight when my hair is damp and take it out in the morning. Afterwards, I'll put in hairspray and dry shampoo for texture and a little bit more volume and dry oil for moisture. You could also consider teasing your hair a bit to add a little bit of volumer.

I don't recommend using lots of hairspray though because you don't want your hair feeling crunchy. Just add a little bit so your hair is still touchable and soft. Plus, hairspray can make your hair a little greasy if not applied generously. Dry shampoo on the other hand will be your best friend! It adds a little bit of texture and volume while helping with oily hair!
