Hair oils - which one?

I have tried sweet almond oil and it is good:
-nice smell
-cheap and easy to get
-prevents split ends if used regularly (2-3x/week)
-only a small amount needed for middles to ends

You can give it a try :) just leave it for 1/2 hour before you shower

I us see argon oil and I have medium thick/ thin hair if that makes since and it smells amazing and works wonders for my hair!! Its also a non greasy formula as well. Or at least the one that I use which is 'One n Only' brand.

Castor oil will be too thick for you, but I love avocado because it actually penetrates the hair, rosemary is EXCELLENT for growth.

I wouldn't use an oil on your fine hair, it will just weigh it down and make it lifeless. Try a leave in conditioner spray. My holy grail is its a 10

Hmm by any chance have you tested the porosity of your hair to verify that it's just the coconut oil and not your actual hair that isn't allowing products to penetrate and help?
