My eyes are purple all around and dead looking even when I put makeup on, any tips?

Using a concealer that's a couple of shades lighter than your skin tone and then going over in your normal foundation may do the job 😊

I like Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer in EDEN on your lids. It actually has coverage and will help neutralize the purple. Also, a salmon or peach toned corrector under your concealer will also help neutralize under eye darkness.

The color that neutralizes purple is yellow. You can use a yellow color-corrector and it'll get rid of that purple tone

Aurora is correct :) Yellow cancels purple tones. Next follow up with your skin coloured concealer or 1-2 shades lighter concealer for a brighting effect.

Experiment with some salmon, peachy color corrector too. I too have purplish undereyes, with some blue undertones and the yellow one does nothing on me accfually, but the peachy ones do wonders.

What Aurora said. Don't use peach it will just make it worse. Peach is for blue circles.

A color corrector in peach will do it - wear it under your concealer - concealer alone no matter how many shades lighter won't correct the purple

Lol... Well she could easily have some bluish undertones aswell. If my memory serves me,a basic color purple is a mix of red and blue. I see where you come from, but the color theory sometimes isnt that "black and white" when it comes to makeup- thats why I said experiment,as the skin is never bright blank purple, red, green, what have you... I asure you the main color in my eye area can be called purple and still I benefit from a peachy tone more than the yellow one.

For me a peach or salmon just made be look cakey whereas a yellow made me look perfect! It's worth trying several options!

I agree to experiment with different color correctors. The best one I have used so far is one that Jacqueline recommended to me by graftobian in pink hi lite. but I would also suggest looking into an antioxidant cream to put under your eyes and don't forget the sunscreen on your under eye during the day preferably an eye cream with spf.

Mine are purple and I have had better luck with peach corrector than yellow as well. I use the Pixi one from Target:)
