Hi everyone! I noticed some people smell so good! and its not just from spritzing some perfume. its like they have an aura of incredible senteur around them! I want that to but I've tried shower gels and scented cream to no avail. still old no special scent me after half an hour. Do you have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for idea Reny. might also be a great way to keep your skin moisturized during winter! ill definitely try that. Should the body butter also be scented or just the oil?

I make an organic sugar, Coconut Oil and Vanilla Essence body scrub. It lasts, exfoliates and keeps my skin soft. I also use Pink Sugar Hair Perfume sometimes. People tell me it's like hugging a vanilla cupcake. I find hair products and scents in hair last longer for me. I get what you are saying. I also agree laying acents, as Reny suggested, works very well...regardless of the scent.

After getting dressed I put aquaphor on both my wrists & the back of my neck & then spray on my perfume to those areas. Also some sprays to your clothes since fabric holds smells better.

I have a comment for you, sometimes I feel I don't smell like the scents or perfumes I wear until people starts to tell me that I actually do. It is just that your nose gets used to the smell and you stop smelling it after some time

I agree that your nose definitely gets used to your smell. People constantly ask me how I always smell so good lol its odd to always be asked that especially since I don't realize I smell good after a while. I use hair perfume daily, and I as well use a body oil (scented) prior to my daily body lotion then spritz on my perfume. Also make sure you're using quality products, I've come across many oils, lotions and perfumes that never last on me.

Ladies, thank you so much for your ideas! I didnt know about the vaseline/aquaphor trick I'm certainly going to use it from now on!
Sadiya, you're unto something. I never thought about it but sometimes people will compliment me on my perfume and I used to think they had a very developped sense of smell lol.

Where can one get a hair perfume in Canada? I've never been able to find one.

I'm definitely looking into hair perfume... and laundry detergents!
Jacqueline the way you apply your perfume might be just what I need to have the scent distribute all over me and not just behind my ears or on my wrists lol. thanks y'all for your amazing ideas. :)

Yes Jacqueline, its helps a lot! I have a few favourite in the monster sillage group of perfume (angel, poison..). but I don't want the scent to overwhelm people around me either! I'm definitly going to test all my perfumes as you said to know the sillage.
thanks again, that was very helpful!
