So I've really been getting into lipsticks. I've gotten every shade of Kat Von D that I like. I'd like to look into Urban Decay lipsticks and was wondering if the quality and colors are worth the money. I bought one of the mattes and loved it (even though it wasn't a true matte). I feel like I haven't heard much about UD lipsticks on this site so any input would be great!!
Also, if you have any favorite shades (preferably with cool undertones), I'd love it if you shared them.
Thanks!

I love UD fiend it's a matte pink nude color.. it really does last all day. But I did notice when I first used it towards the end of the night it started creasing at the ends of my lips but maybe just cause my lips needed a scrub lol cause the next application didn't do that, overall I think it was worth it.

I have Rapture from UD which is a beautiful creamy mauve fall-ish color! I think they are absolutely worth the price - They are smooth, great pigmentation and good lasting power!

Personally I have one from each line of the UD Revolution lipsticks and I adore all of them! My favorite of late is Temper, which is a matte red, but it's more of a 90s brown-red than a true red. I also absolutely adore Shame from the original line, it's amazing and beautiful and there has never been a more perfect cool berry color to exist. I think these lipsticks are totally worth the investment and I highly, highly recommend them. I do have a picture of myself wearing Shame on my profile, should you want to check it out.

I just bought bad blood and 1993 (I think is the name) from their matte revolution line and I'm in love. Lovely quality and pretty good staying power. I think you should definitely check them out :)

Thank you all for your detailed responses! I feel like I haven't heard a lot about UD lipsticks but you've all had wonderful experiences. I definitely know what my next makeup purchases are going to be. I'll let you all know which shades I chose!

Yay for UD lipsticks. I have the regular revolution and the matte. The shades I own from the mattes are 1993 and Blackmail. The regular revolution lipsticks I own Naked, Streak, and The Classic red I totally forgot the name lol! I love them all!

Thanks! Have any of you tried the sheer revolution? I'm confused about what they are and why one would do a sheer vs. opaque lip.

I have tried the Sheer line, I have Sheer Slowburn.
Sheer is simply a different look that some people prefer, it gives a lighter wash of color as opposed to having a very opaque, very defined lip. If that's not a look that interests you, then maybe the sheer line isn't for you =)

Thanks so much! I think the sheer line might be a good option when I have a more dramatic eye or a more casual altogether look n.
