Had anyone used men deodorant?

I don't know which category this goes in, sorry!
Has anyone used men's deodorant? I've heard about many women wearing men's deodorant because they prefer smells that aren't so girly and fruity. I went to buy deodorant today and bought one women deodorant and one men's deodorant. If you do wear mens, do you notice a difference?

I'm with sandra! I can't stand deodorant smell lol I use Gillette Endourace mens deodorant (pretty sure I messed up on the name) lol.

Thank you for the replies!
Some days I sweat a lot and some days I don't. I feel like my body got used to my old deodorants that they don't work as well as they did in the beginning.
I think I might wear my new women's deodorant on one armpit and the men's one on the other just to compare lol.
Sandra I totally get you! I feel like the sweat smell plus the sweet smells of women deodorants don't mix that well. Not tmi at all, I don't know why I'm so excited over deodorants lol. Which one do you use?

Leslie, is that the gel kind? I can't stand gel ones, makes me feel sticky lol.
I also saw some dry spray deodorant which I'm really curious about.

Omg, so I know this sounds gross... but I couldn't find my deodorant one day so I used my sisters... and Omg it smelled horrible of sweat and powder (smell of her deodorant) I tried to scrub and wash it off my armpit and it would not come off. Never again. Hm, I don't remember seeing the playmaker one today. I can't stand the gel ones, that's what I first used and ugh... it's so wet and gross feeling, like it feels like I'm sweating when I'm not.

I also have one of each lol I have a women's one and a men's one :) I don't find one works better than the other though which is why I bought the men's haha, I thought it was going to be somehow stronger

I think the deodorant for men works better I use my boyfriend's when I can't find mine and I feel like it alwaaaays works better

I thought men's would also be stronger then women's but now I think it's mostly about the smell women prefer. I don't like those strong girly flowery fruity smells so I'm just more drawn to mens. I did also buy degree motion sense though and the smell I do like because it's very subtle and not overwhelming at all. I'll just have to try for myself and see which works best for me. Hopefully it works better though lol.

Wear what you want to wear. And they pretty much work all the same. Just look at the ingredient list for the aluminium %. That is, if you're using an antiperspirant /deodorant which contains aluminium. Plain deodorants do NOT contain aluminium and may not work as well on some people. Also, a lot of women's brands will put in skin softening ingredients and less irritating ingredients in them whereas, in men's products they're not as concerned with those issues. I don't use antiperspirants because I'm not a sweater, and I don't want to use aluminium. But if I had to, I would pick the lowest % of aluminum I could get away with.

I feel like men sweat more than we do and after using a men's deodorant in Arizona, I can attest to it holding up in HOT weather better than a women's :) I use Old Spice by the way!

I switched to men's awhile back... old spice just like a lot of the ladies Fiji is my go to I work in a restaurant and have found men's tend to work better but that could be physiological because I always think of men sweating more but I like the smell of men's more

Yup, I use Old Spice. Haha apparently all of the ladies love Old Spice! I use Bearglove, which actually smells kinda feminine as far as non-floral deodorant goes.

I'm not too picky as long as it doesn't smell like flowers or powder (bleeeeeh) and it actually works. Hell, I don't mind smelling like a man either. I think I read in an ancient issue of Cosmo that wearing masculine scents actually makes men go bananas because they get jealous, or some other primitive baloney.

Thank you for all the responses. :) I guess I made the right choice choosing old spice :) I also thought men's would work more because I think they sweat more so you're not alone lisa lol. glad you use bear glove emily, cause that's the one I picked up! I also wanted to add that I tried my degree motionsense and went hiking, it worked very well!! when I first put it on I was like.. is this even going on? it was so smoooth, it didn't even feel like I was putting anything on. even after hiking my pits didn't feel gross!
