I have been using my Clarisonic for two months now, so I am going to give it a little more time for sure. But has anyone NOT benefitted from using the Clarisonic? The quality of my skin seems to have actually gotten a little worse. It is slightly softer, but my cheeks have gotten extremely red and flushed (and it won't go away), my skin tone seems less even (red blotchiness doesn't help), and my blackheads (my only skin problem) have gotten much worse and much bigger. I know I am probably still in the purging stage-as far as the blackheads go... but should I stop using it since it is turning my skin so red!? I have never had sensitive skin at all. Have I created a bunch of broken capillaries with the use of this device?! I have stopped using it as much within the past few weeks. I went from using it once or twice a day to 3-4 times a week but my skin is still constantly red.
Is this a bad product for me? Have any of you had problems with this? Should I keep using it and see if things change? Will my redness go away or have I completely destroyed my skin? Help! =(
I just don't feel like I'm benefitting from my Clarisonic at all and I really wish I was!

I used it for 6 months and my acne got worse. Could be that I was using the wrong brush head.. Not sure...

Hey Natalie/Yesenia, I have clarisonic and I do love it. However, I found out the hard way that I was using the incorrect brush head (normal). I have combo acne prone skin so I switched to the acne cleansing head and it's been wonderful since. I know that they have normal, deep pore cleansing, sensitive, acne and maybe one other to choose from. So...maybe try switching to a "head" that fits your skin needs?? Hope this helps! = )

I have never had acne per se or problematic skin at all... I just bought this to perfect my already pretty good skin. I've been using the sensitive brush even though I never had sensitive skin and didn't expect to need something that gentle... I'm starting to get discouraged and really nervous about possible damage! =(

Well, lets take what Dianne said into consideration, and try a different head... Also, I was using it twice a day every day. Maybe I should use it once a day or every other day??

I've used it and it didnt really do much for me. However I am going to try it out again because I found it lying around just this morning. I will update my experiences.

@ Natalie, I wasn't suggesting you had acne "per se" but rather my personal experiences...

If you have acne or problematic skin, it can spread and make worse. show often r you using? I use once weekly for a good exfoliation, not all the time.

And brush head doesn't really matter- your spreading bacteria AND causing a ruckus under the surface.

When I first got my Clarisonic I was using it 1-2 times a day, but for the past couple of weeks I have gone down to 3-4 times a week. I'm just really scared about broken capillaries! My skin has become so red and much less even than it was before =/

I've found that washing with a clean washcloth every night to remove my makeup has been the best solution to acne. I had the Olay Pro-X brush and while it was fun to use, I don't think it helped my breakouts or exfoliated as well as my scrub does. Just my thought. If its breaking you out and making your skin tone worse, don't use it!

Well this now SCARES ME BECAUSE I just bought my MIA today and I am excited and also hoping it clears my acne up...I have a little bit on my chin along with annoying clogged pores. I also take an anti-biotic and use a retinal cream. So I am hoping this helps. ALSO I got the acne Cleanser brush and use FIRST AID BEAUTY cleanser because it is super gentle. I also use FRESH Clay oil free lotion and a serum. This should help out a lot!

My personal experience , the clarisonic has changed my skin for the better! I would continue using it , my acne did get worse before it got better and now it is doing so well!

Possibly its a worse before better situation. I have a clairisonic and it helps majorly...but when I first started it made me purge majorly. I've used retinol and that cause purging overnight was terrible but for me was worth getting through purging it did get better. Good Luck.

Thanks for the input, everyone!
I'm not worried so much about purging as I am ruining my skin. I've never had acne in the past and I don't have it now... I don't want to know about the pimples in the purging stage but the redness and uneven coloration that is occurring with me...
I don't know if I am creating broken capillaries with my Clarisonic or not and THAT is what I am most worried about. Its not an acne/blemish issue as much as it is my skin getting red and its not going away. Will the redness go away or have I completely destroyed my skin!?

Clarisonic is not only not medically safe, but extremely detrimental to surface and layers of demagogical studies.
Dr. Norman Orentriech, Dr. Walter Unger both are significant Demonologist that I started in the 1970s as their patient. Orentrich is the doctor that created and still his family controls the products of Clinque div. of Estée Lauder.
Orentrich invented what was acquired by 3M a clear surface cleaner named Buf Puff (are) TM. The use of this evasive surface actually caused irreversible damage to my skin and others. The increase in red broken blood vessels, and rosia conditions that have been treated over the past 45 years.
Coarisonic isn't a medically approved product, studies have not been vetted, to illustrate visually into the future. Today, is not a quick solution, it is a quick sake, get rich for not only the doctor, but QVC continues to believe, and sell into the dream. Also, selling having the commentator say, only $1.00 a day per month. When really it was a selling price of $179.00 - four payments of $3o.oo plus a month, that is totally a over sale, false and misleading. QVC is violating all levels of trust, honesty, and accountability.
Ckarisonic will be held accountable for liability, and breach of proof of concept, It is a system that will begin to have class action law suit started.
Do not buy ant abrasive electronic scrub, your skin isn't made of steel, it is cells and fragile dermo surface.

Hi natalie, I am currently having the exact same problem you had with the clarisonic. I am slightly freaking out because I had absolutely flawless skin before I began using the device, and after using it for 4-5 weeks, once daily, my skin is red and irritated... the red blotchiness and appear-to-be broken capillaries are freaking me out. did your skin revert back to normal after this incident? how long did it take to heal? what did you all have to do? thanks so much.. sophia.

Hope all you ladies are cleaning your brushes between use. When I got my Monsia Sonic 3 brush there was a little note inside reminding me to wash my brush after each use. Incidentally I only use it once a week.
