I have combo skin (oily tzone, severely dry cheeks) and use Revlon Colorstay for oily/combination skin. it does kinda dry my skin out so I want to try the dry skin formula but I heard mixed reviews on it, like that it dries the skin out more or that it runs dark...what do you guys think? Stick to the oily/combo skin one or try the dry skin formula?

I have dry skin and use the dry skin formula. I moisturize and prime first then apply lightly with a stippled brush. I don't find that it makes me drier. I heard the whipped colorstay is great for dry skin but I haven't tried it yet. I haven't used the oily skin one but just compared the two bottles foe shade difference if your worried about that.

I just started using the whipped version and it has been great on my severely dry skin. It is very emollient, and I think it would turn into a hot mess on oily or even more "normal" skin types. It works great on my skin though. I moisturize, use my medication (I have a skin condition, that is why my skin is dry), then kind of pat it on with my fingers.

I agree ^^. Try using the whipped version, I have very very dry skin and applying moisturizer right before gives it that moisture it needs to stick too and it doesn't dry my skin throughout the day like most foundations. I recommend it sososo much! Check out my latest video for a full review - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO5BD4soeYU

and it's only 13, compared to high end brands, its great! and it lasts so long.

I concur to what these ladies just said. Same dry skin and oily t-zone, and the whipped foundation is lovely! I haven't tried the color stay you're talking about, so I have no input on that.

I use the colorstay for dry/normal skin and I have dry skin due to acne products and it works really well for me. it kinda runs one shade darker.

Thank you SO much, girls! I think I'll get the whipped colorstay, is there anything I should know about shades and undertones? I'm terrible at picking my color, haha x
