I recently had twins and I gained weight. I'm not used to being this chunky and with lil ones its hard to loose weight right now. I cry every time I go shopping cause I don't know how to dress or what looks good on thicker girls. Could some post picks of how they dress and give a lil advise on what looks good on bigger girls. I haven't gone shopping in 6 months!! I'm going to do a full makeover. New clothes, hair and everything.

Macy's has a full size section and I've seen their catalogue for it, maybe you can go online to their website and check it out? They are in beautiful stylish outfits and look great!

I find a ton of clothes my size at the thrift store- but if that's not your thing there is always Torrid, and I think there plus sizes at Target.

I feel like a good pair of ankle pants really compliments every figure! I'm addicted to them! I own multiple pairs of the stiletto skinnies from torrid with the ankle zippers! I have the black, blue jean, and polka dot jean and they all make me feel so chic when I wear them! I'm a size 16 pear lol I have also got my mom into ankle pants and shes an apple! I feel like they work well for all body shapes! And when shopping for shirts if your a pear get stuff that has a high waist line like in between the bottom of breasts and above bellybutton and then flows out over your tummy! And if your an apple the shirts that are banded at the hip area are most flattering in my opinion :) hope this helps!

You can wear maxi dresses. Loose tops avoid fitted jeans and top. Plaited skirt with loose tank top and a short jacket to cover up your bludgy area.

Going too loose is actually less flattering on fuller figures because you end up looking bigger--there will be too much volume and it creates a big silhouette instead of camouflaging problem areas. I wear a twelve or fourteen and I like wearing skinny jeans, and jeans with a slight flare (boot cut?). I have a tough time finding tops that fit my upper proportions (smaller ribs, huge tatas) but recently found that wearing tank tops and cardigans is a cute look that can be dressed up or down and looks flattering on most shapes. :)
