I have never traveld on an airplane. I am going to Orlando, Florida next week and I was wondering if anyone had and beauty or hair tips for the plane ride?

French Braid or sideways ponytail! You want to be comfortable! If you do a bun or a ponytail it will be hard to sleep! Hope this helps! I just recently went on my first plane ride! It was absolutely amazing! I hope you have fun! :)

Airplanes can be really drying, especially if you already have dry skin. Maybe pack a moisturizer (less than oz. max) in your carry on. (:

Make sure to look at the latest guidelines for carry-on items. Some beauty products may still be on there. Last time I traveled (2008) mascara and lipstick weren't allowed in carry-ons as a safety precaution (I guess you can conceal weapons in there or plastic explosives? Who knows). Wear shoes that are easy to take on and off, since you have to put them through the X-ray machine. Don't wear tight clothing or high heels, because you risk embolisms at plane altitude. And cabin air is very dry, so lotion in the TSA approved size is a must. Don't bother bringing a water bottle or anything like that, since you will have to throw it away at security.

My airport isn't nearly as strict for domestic flights. Also don't wear a lot of jewelry. If you're wearing a belt, make sure it is easy to take off. You have to remove all metal objects, belts, and shoes at security. Then it's a bigger hassle to hurry and put your things back on.
